Australian Tour - Practice when Scouting Locations

Prologue
The Australian Tour by Cleargreen is planned for 2020 or 2021 ostensibly. (This is a working date only)

Reni (Renata Murez) - or the appointed instructor - will lead the Tour and scouting locations is a way of assisting both the energetic and practical design of the Tour and providing an appropriate basis for key concerns.

Tour Objectives
Let's quickly understand the general Objectives of the Tour:

  1. To provide Tensegrity students and practitioners with a focused or polarising experience for their practice, in line with enhancing, understanding and moving ones awareness
  2. To satisfy most practitioners or the "greater middle of practitioners"
  3. To establish a greater connectedness between the Australian Diaspora - people land and knowledge - and non-Australians
  4. To establish a union of the Intent and Energy of Tensegrity with an Australian flavour.
These objectives are subject to change and are used merely as a guide (they are not the direct instruction of Cleargreen) but provide a reasonable basis for what we need so we can assist the Tour organisation

Scouting Practice

When scouting locations we should reasonably rely on our own practice (as we have understood it), general instruction through Cleargreen and the above Objectives. Scouting Practice is thus broken up into the following 4 areas:

  1. General Practice
  2. Knowledge & Connection
  3. Logistics
  4. Presenting Findings

1. General Practice
We could summarise this as "Movement, Silence and Dreaming". When we scout a location we should have minimally modest  semblance of focus around our practice.

  • With regard to Movement: How do different forms feel when practiced at the location? Are there naturally some forms that lend themselves to the elements present? eg the Wind Form on a plateau, Tree form in the rainforest?
  • With regard to Dreaming: Do greater dreams (notionally non-ordinary dreams) present themselves while scouting - before during or after? Is there a quality unusual in your dreaming in the place?
  • With regard to Silence and Self Awareness (also dreaming awake): Is your awareness drawn to items not from your personal history? Is the opposite true? Tracking and Writing (Journaling) always helps.
2. Knowledge & Connection

There a reasonably high importance on making genuine connection with the People and Land. This connection should be one of mutual consideration similar to visiting a good friend. The points here can be summarised as: Relationships and Knowledge with Indigenous or Aboriginal People, Knowledge and Connection with Flora, Fauna and Environment and also Relationships and Knowledge with New Australians.

  • With regard to Aboriginal People: Are you or we able to form positive relationships and communication with Aboriginal people in the area? Is there information regarding interpersonal understanding that will mutually improve knowledge or relationships? Are offerings appropriate? Is an agreement or transaction possible so the tour could participate in Bush Medicine / Ceremonies or observe / etc and such like? It would naturally be best to be centered on practice while exchanging in this way when scouting.
  • With regard to Environment / Flora and Fauna. If at all possible the practice of "speaking with trees and environment" should be attempted (Wolf Connection workshop) . Do specific flora show anything to your awareness? Is there general knowledge about the Australian bush that can be generally shared that you with know of or can research in the place where you scout? Can you share specific experiences with either animals or plants or offer the Tour connectedness with the land and its environment (funny stories also welcome) Are you able to summarise and capture in images some of the feeling of the place you visit?
  • Further, if at all possible, to present a place of some power (or even common majesty) is desirable. It may not be obvious under all conditions that a particular place is powerful. Did you instantly enter into Silence in one location? Were you drawn strongly to items of your environment? If you slept in a particular place did it affect your dreaming? Is there common or secret information that can be shared with Reni about the power of a place?
  • Additionally, variety is necessary. Consider places of power, places of silence, places of dreaming, places of rest, places of elements (water, water falls, deserts, rainforests, forests, plateaus, highlands, lowlands, oceans, lakes, rivers, Rock Formations etc etc etc), trails, paths much travelled, paths never travelled etc.

It should be mentioned that, for many people, the above information in tonal or nagual forms will be the basis and hook of the tour.

  • With regard to Relationships and Knowledge with new Australians, generally speaking the rules ideas apply as above. Many New Australians (last 200 years) and their lineages have already begun to form deep connections with the land and its identity or nature
3. Logistics
There can be no tour without actually organising the practicalities of transport, food and accommodation. In any scouted location one should consider a large workshop venue, group transportation, food and restaurants and accommodation:
  • With regard to a Large Workshop Venue, one should consider the cost, accessibility and appropriateness of a Large Workshop space. Is it close to most of the Tour destinations? Will it serve at the start or the end only? Can that work? Does it have close or good proximity to meals and transport and accommodation? What level of service with regard to the space is expected? (Sound/ Audio etc etc )
  • With regard to Accommodation: Can 100 to 200 people be accommodated? Is the / are the venues of reasonable or good quality? Do they have appropriate proximity to the Tour destinations and workshop venues? Are the food and restaurant facilities appropriate, Can they accommodate people at different times of the years? What are the costs and services?
  • With regard to Transport: Is there an operator who can provide reliable and quality bus services? Again with consideration for the time of the year? Is International and Domestic air travel in proximity or manageable proximity to the Tour locations?
  • With regard to food: Are adhoc food / vending machines / cafes / services available along and around the Tour locations? Are the restaurants and services of reasonable quality?
4. Presenting Findings

Presenting what's experienced and discovered in a reproducible form will allow others to corroborate and enhance the experience where possible. Additionally it provides Reni and potential instructors to use their own insight in reaching the best outcomes for the tour.

When presenting findings one can articulate the experience in the following ways:
- Magical Passes at various locations - the passes should be executed in sets of 3 or 4 at best. Allow time for the energy to speak.
- Ones awareness and experiences at various locations - stand out or experiences that reflect exceptional energy or power
- Majesty of a location
- Elemental and power locations
- Dreams while in proximity to particular locations
- The plantife and knowledge of plants - pictures, researched information
- The animals, experiences with them - pictures, researched information
- Aboriginal People and People in the area - relevant information, connections
- Possible Large Workshop venues
- Transportation options - International and local
- Food and Restaurants
- Accommodation

Some aspect of summary is appropriate including perhaps a comparative rating, a recommendation or an overall feeling or all.

Cyclicity IV - Silence - 3 types of Silence

Inner Silence is the peace de resistance (most remarkable practice) of Tensegrity. No real progress can be made without it. Alongside (the) Recapitulation, Magical Passes and Lucid Dreaming, Inner Silence is the lightning rod that allows perception to move without habituated conceptual cognition.

Its through inner silence that the world stops, the nagual (free un-sullied engagement) arises and the well-spring of real creativity begins.

As described in the script for Cyclicity IV - Silence given by Facilitators in Training worldwide, Silence can arise in 3 general ways:

1. As Cessation of Thought

2. As the Arising of the Observer

3. As Different (pure) Perception

I was asked to explain these a little further and I am able to convey some explanations around the 'state of silence':

The three types of Silence as three aspects of the same state

The three types or experiences of Silence do intermix with each other and you could think of them as the three points of the 'silence triangle', they are three aspects of the state of inner-silence

This is a good analogy because the three together really constitute the culmination of deep silence and reflect 'knowing and expanded awareness'

Looking at each one in more detail:

1. The Cessation of Thought

Cessation of Thought is the closest to 'stopping the world'. When we talk about cessation of thought we are talking about stopping the machine of habitual inner dialogue. Inner dialogue can be soft or heavy and takes energy (For example if we are constantly angry and in a state of rage we are literally exhausted very quickly).

When we have the Cessation of Thought, its literally that (when we observe ourselves afterward). At this time awareness simply experiences without thoughts and words or the interpretive machinery of our normal awareness

There is no doubt it is 'free-ing' and there is no doubt that it is a lucidity of awareness. It's up to every individual practitioner to experience Inner Silence and to know its quality. Aspects of the Nagual are directly experienced when the Tonal rests in this way.

Regarding the Inner Dialogue

We are almost constantly engaged in it (inner dialogue) and through Tensegrity practices, generally, we soften the tax on our energy of the inner dialogue. Inner-Silence manifest as cessation of thought stops the world generated by habitual thought.

2. Arising of the Observer

When the Observer arises, its main characteristic is that it is not engaged in the activities of what is seen. Again, this is the main characteristic and it cannot be fabricated / pretended. It is a clear experience.

(Don't talk too much about it afterwards, just experience it! "Amazing the Observer!" write it in your tracking journal).

You may be simply walking along after practice going to work perhaps(?) and you are able to 'know' without analysis or interpretation, and specifically, because you are not interpreting or analyzing (hence the aspect of silence) you are unengaged and you can simply 'know' without 'weighing', 'considering' or 'searching for a conclusion'.

It is non-intellectual and it is clear awareness that experiences all normal events but without additional interpretations. You may be aware or see much and this will eventually draw you out of pure obseravtion into interpretation and at that time the Observer is no longer based on the Nagual or Silence, but on interpretation, analysis and the concerns of the Tonal and thus it is no longer Silence.

Like the Cessation of Thought, the Arising of the Observer has the aspects of feeling light and floating slightly (in retrospect). Awareness is increased but in a way that is difficult to explain. The body tends to feel balanced (yet unchanged) and because there is no inner dialogue, experiences come and go and are witnessed without mental commentary.

3. Different (Pure) Perception

A 'change of perception' represents an expanded awareness marked by awe, joy, deep inspiration (you may feel your being touching the Nagual) and could be described as radiant awareness. It is a definite shift of perception away from your 'habitual thinking' and you are not engaged in the usual mundane way of thinking. Awe, inspiration, lightness (again) and a shift of perception away from your habitual thought are the main characteristics of this aspect of Silence.

The persistent recapitulation is so important because it allows the energy body to reach this position in a sober way (and hence it is a true aspect of Silence)

Conclusion
The practices of Magical Passes, Recapitulation and Intent are the key benefactors of Silence. Inner-Silence could be likened to the true higher-self - the self that is not engaged in the mundane world (though we should take appropriate care of our mundane world :) ).

I hope these explanations help us all progress along!

Cyclicity IV, V, Review and September 2015 Update Email

Hi All, I hope you are well!

2015 HALF YEAR COMPLETE
I wanted to briefly summarise the last six months before mentioning the new Cyclicity IV and V season coming during the second half of this year.

What an exceptional first half of the year! It was such an enormous pleasure and honour to host Cyclicity I, II and III from January to July this year and I'd like to thank everyone who came to practice. From newcomers to veteran practitioners I know everyone was able to take away something useful - there is no doubt that we have engendered silence, increased awareness and benefited each other!

Our mass, as a group in Melbourne, continues to grow and with that a clarity and strength of intent and practice! Jase has commented on the profundity of silence from the Revolving Moon Form from Cyc II and myself and Georgia have had some excellent recapitulation sessions. Great thanks guys!

It was excellent to welcome 5 newcomers throughout the year and without question - those who have read Carlos before - are moved the instant they meet with co-practitioners, this is Renees, Nyeis, Carol's, Carlos's and Don Juans intent!

For those outside of Melbourne - in Queensland, Sydney, NT, WA, Tas etc, the option for connecting via VC (video conference) is available (at 2pm on Sundays AEST). Additionally I know Hedda is currently completing Facilitator Level 2 and she is doing what she can to assist australian tensegrity practice and practitioners.

PRACTICE CONTINUES EVERY SUNDAY (MUSIC NOW INCLUDED DURING MAGICAL PASS PRACTICE)

Practice continues at 2pm every Sunday (http://www.tensegrity.net.au). During September and October we will be completing Cyclicity 4 but outside of the formal classes the space will be dedicated at 2pm on Sundays every week to group practice - passes, sharing, recapitulation and tracking.

I will now add music starting from Cyc IV as it is a standard part of class presentation. Typically music is added toward the end of session during the pass execution when we are beginning to find depth and the pass is well known.

CALENDAR UPDATE - CYCLICITY IV
 - Cyclicity 4 - Silence : September 20th, 27th, October 4th and 11th 2015 ( 4 weeks )
(18th October rest week - no class)
 - Cyclicity 4 - Silence (repeat) : 25th October, 1st November, (8th November - no class), 15th, 22nd

ABOUT TENSEGRITY
Tensegrity is an opportunity to develop peace-of-mind, a good heart, silence and stability. Newcomers are welcome and in these classes we learn to train our awareness and to use movement to develop energy and to increase wellbeing. We learn the basics of tracking behavioural patterns and engage in the practices of the 3 masteries: 1. Mastery of Awareness and Lucid Dreaming, 2. Mastery of Intent and 3. Mastery of Behaviour

Extant in the world at this time, the manifest intent of the sorcerer's of Ancient Mexico present a unique and extremely rare opportunity for personal development. The practices of 'the warriors path', 'a person of knowledge' and 'the definitive journey' are unmistakable, unbreakable and completely available. It was not always the case that Tensegrity practices were openly shared, Tensegrity communities thus represent a rare and openly accessible opportunity for anyone who seeks an expansion of awareness supported by genuine friends!

FACEBOOK PAGE AND TENSEGRITY.NET.AU EMAIL
Look out for an Australian or Melbourne Tensegrity Facebook page coming soon. Additionlly you'll soon receive these emails from tensegrity@tensegrity.net.au. This was previously advised and will again, happen soon :).

PRIVACY
Tensegrity Melbourne (at this time myself - John Sumich) maintains the privacy of all attendees and all contact details in accord with the Australian Privacy Principles and your details will never be shared outside of Cleargreen or Tensegrity Melbourne for any purpose at all.

AIMS - NOT FOR PROFIT
Tensegrity Melbourne is not-for-profit and pricing for classes is only designed to cover costs relating to class administration and time.

The only possible course that a tensegrity practitioner has is to act consistently and without reservations. At a certain point he knows enough of the (tensegrity) way to act accordingly but old habits and routines may (still) stand in the way.

If you see this post it means that BlogEngine.NET is running and the hard part of creating your own blog is done. There is only a few things left to do.

Write Permissions

To be able to log in, write posts and customize blog, you need to enable write permissions on the App_Data and Custom folders. If your blog is hosted at a hosting provider, you can either log into your account’s admin page or call the support.

If you wish to use a database to store your blog data, we still encourage you to enable this write access for an images you may wish to store for your blog posts.  If you are interested in using Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, SQL CE, or other databases, please see the BlogEngine docs to get started.

Security

When you've got write permissions set, you need to change the username and password. Find the sign-in link located either at the bottom or top of the page depending on your current theme and click it. Now enter "admin" in both the username and password fields and click the button. You will now see an admin menu appear. It has a link to the "Users" admin page. From there you can change password, create new users and set roles and permissions. Passwords are hashed by default so you better configure email in settings for password recovery to work or learn how to do it manually.

Configuration and Profile

Now that you have your blog secured, take a look through the settings and give your new blog a title.  BlogEngine.NET is set up to take full advantage of many semantic formats and technologies such as FOAF, SIOC and APML. It means that the content stored in your BlogEngine.NET installation will be fully portable and auto-discoverable.  Be sure to fill in your author profile to take better advantage of this.

Themes, Widgets & Extensions

One last thing to consider is customizing the look and behavior of your blog. We have themes, widgets and extensions available right out of the box. You can install more right from admin panel under Custom/Gallery.

On the web

You can find news about BlogEngine.NET on the official website. For tutorials, documentation, tips and tricks visit our docs site. The ongoing development of BlogEngine.NET can be followed at CodePlex where the daily builds will be published for anyone to download.

Good luck and happy writing.
